Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What kind of equipment do you work on?
A: While our most commonly performed services are listed on the "Services" tab, you may be surprised to see some of the equipment we've worked on. Barber chairs, grout pumps, welders and plasma cutters, power screeds, are just a hint of the other types of equipment we've had come through our shop. If you're having trouble finding a local firm to perform satisfactory work on your small to medium sized equipment, give us a call!

Q: Why won't my small engine start?
A: The number one reason a small engine won't start is a fouled fuel system. Stale fuel and fuel deposits are blocking the tiny orifices that the fuel must travel through to get into the combustion chamber. Generally this is easily prevented, with proper storage and the use of fuel additives.

Q: Why won't my paint sprayer spray?
A: Most often there is debris (dried paint from previous use) caught in one of the check valves. Proper cleanup, and storage will usually prevent this. Older sprayers will have build up on the inside of the suction hose that will begin to flake off causing problems. Suction hose replacement is the only solution.
